APOLLINIC RITES - debut material, mini-CD “The Hidden Sanctuaries” in honor of the spring equinox
Started under the name of Gebeleizis in 1998 by Fulmineos (drums, keyboards & vocals) and Horrendus (guitars). The project at first had also a session bassist player but only for a few months.
In 2001 the bands name became Apollinic Rites due the fact that they wanted a more universal concept regarding the white god/god of light, the solar hierograms and other magical expressions of ancient hidden cults and wisdom. But the yeas passed without any recording or relevant activity, only several rehearsals took place.
Finally here we are in 2010 after twelve years of more or less activity, Apollinic Rites is able to present its debut material, the five piece mini- CD entitled “The Hidden Sanctuaries” also with a new guitarist in line-up, Stallath.
They have never spoke about their musical influences, but its merely the nineties black metal old school scene (Absu, Thou Art Lord, Varathron) and some ritual cult music from the Balkan area (Daemonia Nymphe, Irfan) as the whole concept is trying to recreate imagines with forgotten deep times lost into the old history, they speak about the temples of Apollo from the White/Leuke Island in the Black Sea, about Trakian and Balkan/Mediterranean spirituality, strange customs and beliefs of the first Celts that crossed the Danube river, about the power of ancestral oracles in Dionysus honor, lost cities/civilizations and great wars held with glory and pride, northern Carpathian hyperborean mythological quests and pelasg ancient legends…
Apart from music there are also some other inspirations like ancient Greek theater/writings (Sophocles, Aristophanes) or modern plays like Amor Omnia by Mihail Bulgakov for example but with the same structure.
This is Apollinic Rites, a perpetual project made by two souls about one great ancient age.

Stallath - guitars & bass

KULTIKA Live at Casa Studentilor Timisoara on 27th February 2010
This live event was the idea of a friend of ours who managed to open a café in our city but the latter events and problems with police and other factors made impossible to held the live gig at his place, so as the things were prepared for a gig (rehearsals, a band to open the venue, other logistics etc.) Kultika decided to still do this live concert and found another location in Casa Studentilor.
So on Saturday the 27th February, around eight o’ clock with Faceplant as a opening band the mayhem will descend upon mankind once again!
EKASIA- “Underground Ghosts” new CD at F.I.R. on 28th of January 2010
The new album comes after a long sound odyssey procession and brings new dimensions to the music and also enlarges the line-up of this project.
There were strong convulsions on witch this material was made, at one point there were also some other persons involved as two guitarists, a drummer and a bassist were test ed but when the recordings actually began Fulmineos took credits for all the instruments and recordings as he was not satisfied with their play or involvement into the project.
After that talking with his long-time friend and band mate, Hecter they decides that his voices suits very well into the whole concept so Fulmineos shared the lyrical concept and Hecter did a beautiful job laying perfect clean vocals, distorted callings and chilly bleak feelings.
The mixing and mastering was done in Negura Studios Timisoara and the final tasks were finalized in another private session studio in Bucharest .
The new sound we can call it industrial electronic dark ambient as Ekasia is after all this years doing again something else, a more modern and innovative approach, a cinematic outside this world call where strange creatures and weird delusional states of mind agonize at the edge of sanity and beyond reasonable understanding…
And so once again Ekasia succeeded reinventing itself on the firmament of dark sound with a more mature approach based on a professional sound and concept.
The title of the Cd is sort of a tribute to a beautiful book entitled “Underground” written by an unknown writer from Timisoara,Vladimir Stefan Petrescu; its strong influential subjects/stories ended up in a total surprise of its content and quality that Fulmineos decided to add its title as a respect and recognition to it’s initial “Ghosts” idea, that underline the other part of the concept written for this material: some personal experiences about deep dark depressing things life’s toys when everything is (un)controllable…

KARPATES OMOS-“Back to the Woods” CD dedicated to the winter’s solstice
The debut album of this transylvanian project is released after a close collaboration in the past, our label editing a split with Ordinul Negru before and having the opportunity to help and support again we decided to release also the debut full-length too.
On this material, the sole member Rust invited Fulmineos from Argus Megere, Fogland, Kultika etc to feature on drums and to support also the vocals part.
It resulted a traditional raw black metal full of coldness and a supreme pagan attitude maybe more on conceptual side of things than on musical expression.
You can order the album from our LABEL

ORDINUL NEGRU- “Poems of a rooted blade” tape-version by Akne Productions
The Slovakian label Akne Productions released the MC version of the fifth full-length album in a professional pro-printed b/w variant with the tape coming also with a color sticker and studio duplicate recording.
It is a marvelous idea maybe in this “modern” times only for collectors but we are proud to have it also in our distro and still to support true underground!
